The Mosby Heritage Area Association, NOVA Parks, and the Stuart-Mosby Historical Society are proud and excited to join together to bring a compelling combination of presentations, living historians, and displays that tell the stories of the people, places, and events that unfolded across Northern Virginia during the Civil War.
Historians Eric Buckland, Tracy Gillespie, David Goetz, Don Hakenson, Chuck Mauro, Carl Sell, and Kevin Pawlak will provide a series of presentations and vignettes about the topic from 10 am to noon and from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. A lunch break will be held from noon to 1:30 pm. Visitors are encouraged to either bring a picnic lunch and eat during a concert of period music or visit one of the many local restaurants during the break. Besides the programs and book sales inside the church, there will be living historians and other historical displays located outside the church.
The cost of the program is $20, which includes access to all of the programs and light refreshments throughout the day. No advanced sales will be taken. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
This event is a fundraiser for the Mosby Heritage Area Association, NOVA Parks, and the Stuart-Mosby Historical Society.
