Volunteer
For the Virginia Piedmont Heritage Area's programs and activities to support our "preservation through education" mission, we rely on volunteers. As a volunteer, your work is invaluable and, as you'll discover, with volunteering comes camaraderie and the satisfaction of knowing your contribution matters.
Among the ways you can help the organization are:
Assembling membership mailings
Helping out at our Atoka headquarters
Putting together invitations to fundraising events
Helping with special mailings such as our end of the year appeal
Help with educational programs such as our Aldie Triangle Program
Meet and greet people at our events
Work at the Virginia Piedmont Heritage Area Store table at events
Provide parking assistance at events
Serve as a host at VPHA events
All Virginia Piedmont Heritage Area volunteers receive free admission to fundraising events when volunteering for an event. Volunteers are recognized for their work at an annual Volunteer Gathering.
To become a volunteer contact the Virginia Piedmont Heritage Area office at 540-687-6681 to talk to staff, or fill out the Volunteer Application.
