Conservation Easement Summit: Protecting The Heart of the Heritage Area

  • Trinity Episcopal Church 9108 John S Mosby Highway Upperville, VA, 20184 United States (map)

The scenic views of the Loudoun Valley have been traveled and lived upon for thousands of years, with its stories preserved in historic homes and rolling hills. The heart of the Heritage Area between the Bull Run and Blue Ridge Mountains serves as a destination for bikers, hikers, foxhunters, history lovers, and everyone in between. This landscape is safeguarded today thanks to the community members and landowners whose stewardship has protected it for future generations. Join VPHA and our partner organizations for a look into the benefits and success stories of conservation easements, as well as the funding currently available to assist with landowner expenses related to the process. Development pressure continues to rise and easements are the only resource for permanently protecting our precious landscape for future generations.

The summit will be followed by a beer & wine reception.

Tickets are free, but RSVPs are required.
