"They Were Good Soldiers" Book Talk with John U. Rees

Drawing upon decades of research into the common soldiers of the Revolution, historian John Rees joins us to examine the fascinating and often forgotten story of African-American soldiers in the Continental Army. This program is presented in partnership with the Black History Committee of the Thomas Balch Library.

This program is free of charge and will be broadcast live on the VPHA Facebook Page.
