Originally settled by farmer Ezekiel Mount of Pennsylvania in 1796, the bucolic village of Mountville remains largely unchanged over the span of three centuries. Over 200 years, life in this picturesque village grew and became centered around its Methodist Chapel, a lasting reminder today of the village's historic roots. Join preservationist Paul Lawrence as we explore the historic origins of Mountville, the restoration of the church, and the community today.
